@pitmie Ferraris are capable of winning drag races… its the matter of the driver driving it that makes the difference… and putting a Ferrari against tuned cars, it isnt surprising that Ferraris lose… because the opponents’ cars are well, tuned… think about it… am i right?
@pitmie where as for the matter of the customers’ cars not as fast as what Ferrari claim, again thats because of the driver behind the wheel.. maybe he just doesnt know how to drive…
come on… ur a fan of Ferrari and i am too… should u let the words of Chris Harris which i respect as well make u feel cheated? Ferrari isnt the only one who does it… other car manufacturers do as well… the reason they follow the test journalists around is because they want to get optimum performance out of the car… Mclaren do it… so why shouldnt Ferrari?

Well, to be fair, drag races aren’t everything…
…After reading his rant about Ferrari’s rules in testing their cars, I feel quite sick of Ferrari & somehow I started to hate Ferrari now. Like I said, I thought Ferraris are fast & should win drag races most of the times…but that’s not the case in many drag videos posted here in Youtube where Ferraris always play second fiddle to Porsche & usually on par with Lambo. Seeing Ferraris racing against tuned cars is even more painful to see…that sometimes I don’t even bother to watch them.
@apeltala I trust his every words he wrote about “how Ferrari spins”…which is pretty disgusting for me. It’s good to be honest even if it means that he’ll never be able to drive a Ferrari ever again. I believe I’ve been cheated by Ferrari after watching so many reviews & verdicts about their cars…which mostly impressed me a lot. I’m a fan of Ferrari since I was a kid, almost 30 years now & I adore most Ferraris. But watching so many vids in Youtube tells me things I don’t want to believe…
@JayRicci7891 People loves Clarkson for his comments & jokes, while people love C.Harris for his driving skills…JC really hates this 599 GTO while CH seems to enjoy driving it a lot….JC condemned this supercar coz he spun the car too many times while CH praised this car coz he really knows how to drive super-fast car like this…
So let’s take C.Harris’ truthful comment & review about this magnificent car instead of listening to JC’s whining & I truly believe this 599 GTO is awesome.

I truly enjoy Harris’ reviews and this one is no exception. He actually gives meaningful insights, not just opinionated bluster
I find it hard to believe this is the same guy who slagged Ferrari a couple of months ago with that “How Ferrari Spins” piece, but if it is him, it’s a real shame that this is probably the last Ferrari review we’ll ever see him do.

He should have his own TV show. I would soooo much rather watch his reviews than the baboons that are on the new American Top Gear show.

@dy5000 Motorweek is about reviews and facts. Top Gear is a show and also for entertainment. Can’t compare oranges to apples.
quite entertaining and superb shots…
for some reason i find it rather strange how motor week has test driver good enough to get a base 430 from 0-60 in 3.5 and through the 1/4mile in 11.7 and yet there drivers couldnt get th lambo gallardo to 60 in under 5 and couldnt even break 13sec through a 1/4mile.
The review is so interesting that i fell asleep… its like a script read out by a typical car salesman. I think Top Gear from UK had set a brand new benchmark in automotive reporting.
